Today was kinda hard to define - I spent the early hours of the morning - using the toilet... From 6:00am to about 12:00 pm, I was doing a tango with the toilet... For some reason, my stomach has become very selective of what it accepts as food and what it doesn't...
Any wrong step is instantly punished, with a permanent scheduled visit to the "Gents" until it has purged the offending foods out of ma system...
I just got in and made straight for the keyboard - destination www.blogger.com, to share my thots... I paid a visit to juicy fruiter - simple & lovely sight...
will right later
chinedu
Thoughts about the issues of living, thinking, eating, breathing and other unmentionable acts as "Chinedu"; a mortal hunk of flesh. I have a fascination for words - I think words have an ability, a power of their own to take on life and provide meaning, to cause action, change or destruction... On my beach - things are varied but there are always lessons to be learned and you can never really tell how far the rabbit hole goes. A soap opera of thoughts expressed as words...

hero of the day... (you decide...)
Since the new year celebrations where kindly exetended to the 2nd to accomodate extra celebrations - the day, which kindly fell on a monday, the first working day of the week - was viewed and greeted with sighs of relief.
While some went about their normal business, others partied or slept or kept indoors or ate themselves into obesity (your pick!) But for some people, who had their homes and places of abode, demolished - it was a very dark and discouraging way to enter the year 2006.
For me, it was a day spent in quiet solitude, I woke up and started preparations to head for my business... i have been there ever since - today's wednesday and I'm still at the muck but very happy with the way things are going.
My partner's handling himself very well, inspite of the many challenges he has faced setting up and running his business- (he's still the pay master of this operation) and I'm grateful for the chance to make money and gain invaluable experience...
There are of course days when you shit pellets of steel and stone, days when the world's at peace with you and you're at peace with the world and days that are just that - days.
regardless - my motto's simple - if it doesn't kill you, it'll only make you stronger!

A new year beckons... (2006)
Like the calls of the sirens - their wailings too melanchonic to resist.
The new yaer provides the lure of things hoped and aspired for - leaving us all in a trance like state. We don't want to hope and be disappointed but we hope nonetheless...
I just resumed duty today - I went to church yesterday, in a very foul mood - I threw my questions at God, wondering why? (My problem's that i worry too much - I see everything in terms of a financial implication). I don't even get to enjoy the cash when it comes because it's there to solve another problem... After the new year church service - I made my way to my old neighbourhood - to catch old friends (most were asleep - from partying hard the previous nite)...
I spent the day at a very good friend of mine (Dalton - I like to call him: Mr "D"), it was a nice time - apart from the tiredness (lack of sleep will do that to you.)
Anyway - I'm here in front of the monitor, my fingers pounding away on the keyboard - waht does the future hold apart from potential promises - I don't know but I'm going to do my damnest to get it rite this time... (it's all or nothing!)
Things are moving as well as can be expected - all things considered.
Happy new year - may your dreams come true!
