another month ending - why the rush?

Do you sometimes get the feeling that you are running out of time? That it seems determined to waste away as you progressively get older?
Guess what - that's exactly how i feel on occasion. I was in such a haste today due in part to time constraints that i had to post a hasty entry just to justify that i'm still there...
I'm an uncle now - i was kind of skeptical about revealing this piece of infomation but now it doesn't matter anymore. I'm happy but worried (what else is new?) But the future is bright and I'm aiming to keep it that way.
I'm currently doing some freelance work and hope that it leads somewhere - that said, i'm outta here... (to be back at some later date)
later...

almost up...

well - been some time but the that's life... We've been counted, which actually took them a week and a day to do but then that's behind us...

The eclipse came and went - in lagos which was where i was located - it was partial...

will get back to you...

The future just walked in through my front door - Technology on steriods

remember when i was describing my interests and that computers just happened to be one of them - well for a change, i decided to share one of my passions with you.

This just in:
I just got word that microsoft together with its partners have finnaly released - working prototype models of their ORIGAMI concept.

They have teased and taunted us to no limit and finally, their concept (the future of computing)appears to have finally attracted the much needed hype - the verdict is still out but from the responses derived from the teasers - it appears that we have a winner - form factor and size unite with intelligent design...
I hope the functionality isn't sacrificed.

dreams and dreaming for the future...

Do you remember faizah, well - she's celebrating her birthday tomorrow and I wish to use this medium to wish her the best of the rest of her life...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY precious and I hope that many good and wonderful things (too much gush but whose counting anyway) come your way from this point onwards...

A friend o mine by the name of ellis came to my workplace today and it was fun to chat about dreams and ambition and how much closer one is to achieving a dream - to restore a little of that hope that ebbs out like air from a leaking ballon...

I felt somewhat hopeful and a tad dependant - my motto is it doesn't matter who makes it first especially when the party involved helps as many people as he or she can, out of the runt called life...

The ladder of success is a funny trip - the view is breath taking but rather difficult to reach - you can read brochures but it aint the same thing honey - one is on paper and the other is the real deal...

That said what's life without a dream or hope or drive, passion, zeal, persistence - vision... but a dull, boring - full of crap for options...

Please give me my dreams any day...

Pimpin' the Gospel

I started off this write up on another computer with a differnt train of thought but the contingencies of my country(NEPA and ISP problems) have been a hindrance but that not withstanding (where there's God's will + human persistence, there's most definitely a way!)
Got that title from my brother - it was actually as a result of watching some morning show that was infact a gospel program - it had a group that was rappin' and they appeared all blinged up to the hilt... It was a real departure from the traditional gospel that we are often force fed...

Who said gospel had to be sober or dull... It can take many forms but the most important thing is how to deliver the crux of content to us (sinners) - in a manner that we will assimilate without tuning out the message...

If a flock of birds have learnt to fly without perching the hunter must learn to shoot without aiming - it all boils down to an effective strategy that must be adaptive to the times (social, economic and whatever else)

So my brother and I agree that they are pimpin' the gospel to make it palatable (the reality of the times appear to be different so that people have to be shown the parallel between Jesus's time and ours....) youths say that it needs to be overhauled...

There is a saying that the more things change, the more they stay the same - I'm totally in agreement - inspite of the differences (it's the same message and the same theme - the difference is simply perspective of the preacher)

Anyway - keep pimpin' so far it gets the message across...

Marching on into or thru the month of MARCH

A brand new month with many exciting and not so exciting possibilities. I could possibly be delusionally estatic or plain silly but the choice of mood is mine.

What can one expect from the merry month of march?
I'm in no rush to discover all the fun and excitement - a recent happy event, a new addition to the family... What can I say to all this - GOSH!

Will keep u posted...
