Touched by a butterfly....

I had barely made it in time - it was a little to 8:00 am maybe two minutes...
I made a bee line for the register to put my signature or sign in on the attendance sheet as the native would have it...

Work can be so structured - sign in and be counted but I find that my income can barely cater for my expenses and I do need to start planning adequately for the future...

There happen to be a lot of butterflies and moths flying around - maybe it's a migration maybe its part of the procreation game, who is to know in the end?

Work is as always - with me flying in every possible direction.

We're implementing the verified by Visa platform and gradually expanding our local branded Vpay cards which are in fact a derivative of VISA.

I can see a lot happening in the coming months and yet I wonder?

I still dream of self employment and would so like to be my own boss, doing exactly what I love to do, which is....

Scratch, scratch....

I love to generate ideas, I love to troubleshoot ideas - I love to think and dream...

I love the gift of creativity and how it frees the human mind to think and ponder on solutions and answers...

My brother has gone back to school and my folks are back form the burial I couldn't attend due to my job...

I could hate everyone and no-one and yet it doesn't matter in the end.

Still, I can dream can't I?

I'm still in the office just winding down my operations and already gearing up for the next day which incidentally is FRIDAY....

Later folks

Holy grail - Thank God It's Friday...

It's not as if i have any thing special lined up but then again who is to know the eventual out come of these things... As I'm typing away at the key board - the smell of chicken is gently wafting into my nostrils and I'm so eager to dig in...

This is considering the other options open to me - I have been on some kind of eating regime...
I seem to eat only tit bits and maybe the occasional meal maybe that's why I'm so slim!

Things are moving as expected - precluding the unexpected which as the name implies happens without warning...

Since this is Nigeria - the land of the unexpected by inference the unexpected is routine...

Which means that nothing that happens can or should surprise anybody?
How you chose to understand this statement is entirely up to you.

That said the week has been brought to a close and I'm geared up for the burial of my aunt (dad's sister to be precise) - with its attendant problems and normal bickering....

I'm not sure what my motives for going really are and I don't seem to care - or maybe I'm becoming numb to the whole thing...

My brother is due for JAMB and I can only wish him the best - this time around.

All is as it should be - did I fail to mention that my girlfriend's around and we've been playing sneak...

I'm happy - that's all I can say this side up but it would be so much fun if I actually had a pad of my own... My very own place - my private domain and kingdom...

Just wanted to get some words off my chest - that done I'm off for the week end...

Here's to better things...

Flash in the PAN...

The elections in Nigeria are over...

That doesn't mean we're out of the woods yet - it just means that all that pent up emotion and tension soaked atmosphere is temporarily dissipated.

It was almost touch and go but you can still feel the vibes in the air...
Traffic in Lagos is still normal - which means that depending on what type of luck you have it gets worse then better...

My brother came back from school yesterday and he entertained me to no end with his tales - apparently he has a new nickname - Avalanche!

Go figure...

He's strutting his stuff here and there but for the most part I missed the fellow dearly and he's always a barrel of laughs...

I'm in that state of mind where I constantly crave for better income streams (obviously not from my job alone)

Ideas float around in my head but there's so much fear to investigate, to actualize - I was struck in the head yesterday by a saying: If you're afraid to FAIL then you're afraid to LEARN...

The two go hand in hand.
Failure is a learning based experience - if and only if you're not afraid to fail...

We are our experiences...
